Glock 19 5th Gen Price - I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER WITH ALL THE IMPROVEMENTS AND IT'S TIME THE WATCH GAVE A QUALITY FINAL FINISH TO HIS RIFLE. HOPEFULLY THEY WILL ALSO COMPLETE THEIR ENTIRE LINE." BEAUTY IS IN THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER" EVEN GLOCK OWNERS LOVE THE BELLA VISTA RIFLES!
The Gen 5 Glock 19 9mm is a huge improvement over previous generations. The Sharpshooter Barrel allows for far greater accuracy and the new factory finish is incredible. I put over 200 rounds through mine using a variation of Blaser Brass FMJ 115 grain bullets and Federal FMJ 115 grain bullets. Without any malfunctions. I like that.

I've been a fan of XD for years. I've always loved XD, I took good pictures of them and had no reason to change. I started looking for something new to wear and was determined to find my perfect EDC. As for me, I wanted at least a 4 inch barrel, good capacity, a reputation for reliability, all my fingers to fit in the grip, suitable for a southpaw and preferably no ambition.....all in one gun I wouldn't be ashamed of shred ends with edc....oh I'm 6'2" and 160 lbs so it also had to be hidden on a bit more than a street sign. I've fired a variety of ammo through it about 1k rnd total with no problems. Shoots straight, bangs every time , the handle is only 1/4" longer than the 13rd subcompact XD and one inch shorter than the XD extended magazine. Downsides...... The ergonomics aren't great but I'm getting used to it .New to Glock sights, not for me and will be replacing them soon. The trigger isn't very good, it's been replaced by the Apex and that's an improvement. All in all, the best gun for me and my needs today.

For those of us living in California, this and many other large firearms will be out of our reach due to California's gun inventory. If you live here, you can only dream of updated and improved versions of older weapons like this one. Those who live in a free state and want a good laugh, check out the CA Pistol List. We who experience it can only cry.
I just received my G19 Gen 5 on 12/3/18... and I love it. My first 250 shots at the range were perfect. My accuracy was very good at about 10-15 yards... I was really impressed with it being my first Glock. I bought an extended 30 round magazine for it…and enjoyed the shooting, LITERALLY!!
I've had my Gen5 for 2 months and have put about 1200 shots into it. I have used about 7 different brands of ammo and different types like hollow points and fmj different grains and everything in between. No problem. It literally works perfectly with every pull. Plus, the new barrel and slide finish looks amazing and is easy to clean. The tolerances are a little higher, so there will be wear rings on the barrel, but they obviously won't affect accuracy. The newer barrel is very reliable for me shooting at 20-25 yards, if you do your part this gun will not let you down. The lack of finger slots is great for me. Couldn't be happier with any other gun.
I love the Gen 5, it's my first gun. I've already put 1000 shots into it. Lots of fun, yet reliable. I know the gun came out recently, but I wish there were more spare parts to customize my Glock; extended well mag. Maybe something to fill the "clipped" magazine they recently did for the Gen 5. How long will it take for companies to start shipping aftermarket parts for the Gen 5?
Glock 19 Gen 5 (9mm)
I shot it for about 7 months and fired about 4200 rounds. I haven't had any problems yet. over time the trigger improved (which was already an improvement over the gen 4) I put in a 3.5 connector, which you can find on this page, and that helped make the trigger smoother and seems perfect for EDC. I also got an extended slide disassembly lever which makes disassembly a lot easier. The slightly flared magazine housing helps with magazine changes, the barrel still shoots very straight, and the barrel and slide finish still hold. I put it in and out of the kydex holster several times each day shooting dry fire as well and the finish shows no wear and still cleans powder. Extremely well made gun and great Gen 4 upgrades.
Seriously, whoever is thinking of getting this gun, go ahead and treat yourself!! It is truly an amazing gun and you will not be disappointed!
Gen 5 is definitely an upgrade over Gen 4. I remember the subjective: hand size, tight or loose use of controls, grip feel, and finger groove preferences. I think the grip is better thanks to all the changes that have been made. I like the finger slots in the Gen 4, but the Glock 19 was too small for my hands and still is, regardless of the angle or something making it much more accurate. I know many are worried about the new grooved barrel, but I have found it to be very accurate. I liked the 124 grain Winchester 9mm Luger NATO FMJ through it and those were hot shots. All factory parts are correct.
I bought the Gen 5 shortly after it was released and it did not disappoint. I also have a G19 gen 4 and still love it. However, I think gen 5 has become my favorite. It shoots really well, a bit better than the gen 4 (for me anyway). I really like the new coating on the slide and the lack of finger grooves. There is so much more I could say, but most importantly...I highly recommend this gun.

Great gun, replaces my Glock 19 Gen 3. Modified with Romeo Zero Red Dot making it a very accurate weapon.
Well, so far so good! I really like it and it fits well. Good size, great size to carry. If I wanted a smaller concealment gun, I have another one for that. 16 rounds of 9mmP should be more than enough to "get the job done" - God forbid something like this ever comes along! My only concern with this pistol is the lack of additional or improved replacement parts sold for the Glock 19 models 1-4. One nice thing is the new barrel with more conventional grooves than other Glock models, which should work with lead cartridges. Glock doesn't recommend reloading, so I'm on my own there.
I bought my first Glock and it is a Glock 19 Gen5 and I have to say I love everything about it including the trigger which is perfect. I've only had it since October and as soon as I picked it up I knew this was my gun. Due to Atlantic Tactical's distribution agreement with GLOCK, Blue Label law enforcement pistols may only be sold to individuals in the following states: PA, New York, New Jersey, MA, MD, DC, VA
Never forget that a gun can cause serious injury or death in a moment of inattention. Make safe gun handling a habit you will always follow. Once you have determined that the firearm is unloaded, continue to handle it as if it were loaded.

When choosing a safe direction, you must also consider that a bullet can ricochet or bounce off any object it hits, and that bullets can penetrate walls, ceilings, floors, and windows.
3) Keep your finger off the gun's trigger guard and the trigger until you have your sights on a safe target and decide to fire.
By keeping your finger completely off the trigger guard until you are aiming at the target, you ensure that all rounds fired will travel safely in the intended direction of the target.
Keep in mind that a bullet can travel several miles, so you should be sure what your bullet can hit before you pull the trigger. Never shoot at movement, noise, flash of color, or rustling of bushes without identifying the target.
